The Atlantic Hybrid Shield-fern is an extremely rare hybrid. It was recently discovered in a single locality in western Ireland, growing in limestone scree at low altitude. The Tunbridge Filmy-fern is a very small fern, moss-like in habit and easily missed. Found on trees, tree stumps and rocks in moist woodland and in sheltered upland crevices, it is rare in parts of Ireland but can be found in West Cork in Glengarriff Woods #madelocal #madetolast
