i’ve been writing browser tests in laravel apps, and while building pest 4, i added this: if an element has a data-test attribute, you can grab it with the @ prefix. super handy when you want to click on something without any text — like an avatar. 🤌🏻

This is a milestone for php testing!

Pest 4 was not only released, but also became the DEFAULT version if you run `laravel new --pest` or choose Pest with starter kit. Which means... no breaking changes! Only new features. Video review coming probably next week.

Pest 4 Landing Page was probably the most challenging project I've had in years. nuno maduro called me 48h before launch, I was on holidays. Time was short, but PEST deserved it. Even with doubts, I said: count me in. In less than 2 days, I designed and built the concept
