Goodness, I am anxious and nervous about this final exam for databases. But it's the last exam for my B.S. so I am excited 😀

Unfortunately I failed the OSCP because of the documentation. When I asked what requirement I did not meet, they copy & pasted the documentation requirements and sent them to me. I signed up for it again, and I'm taking it again tomorrow. Going to be very detailed in this report.

Submitted OSCP documentation last night, totaled 95 pages. Gained access to 4.5 machines. Detailed all commands and steps to reproduce the exploits. Followed exam documentation requirements strictly. Much more detailed than the previous report. Now time to go get a job.

It is finally official, I have finally earned my OSCP. Thanks for the training OffSec. Thank you everyone for the continuous support and motivation to continue trying, and move forward. Wouldn't have been possible without you.

After not job hunting for a while - I forgot how absolutely crazy and turbulent looking for a job actually is. Not to mention how terrible the user experience is on some of these 'career' websites.

Still no bites yet. I've figured out that instead of highlighting my security experience in my resume, I have unwittingly highlighted my current job, when I want to pivot into security. Time to revamp the ol' resume.

Finally got ESXi running on two hosts, and vSphere all set up. I’ve got all my workloads fully virtualized on a home network. That was quite the learning curve, but I believe it’ll be a powerful solution to my needs for a while. Used old consumer hardware and a Dell R430.

Hey RΛZΞR Support, I submitted a ticket, stating that my CPU was grossly overheating when doing simple tasks. The ticket closed out stating that it was within specified tolerances after a CPU test. This is what my Blade looked like when I opened it. Not cool...

Finally got my Cuckoo sandbox running. That was one of the hardest things I've ever had to set up for my homelab. I even used an automated script to handle the initial install - but it still required 24hrs of my attention until it worked flawlessly. What a pain in the butt.

The new PiHole v5.0 is awesome. Now you can just add your local hosts through the GUI's "Local DNS Records", without having to mess with dnsmasq. Lets new users resolve their local DNS easier :) #pihole

Had some interviews, but unfortunately my lack of AD knowledge buried me in the end. My version of OSCP didn't cover AD, and it seems rather hard to gain experience/learn about it. The information is out there, but scattered. So I signed up for RastaLabs. Hoooo boy.

Well at least the OSEP will cover some AD, so that people can first take OSCP and then OSEP :)

Has anyone been able to get Airpods Pros to work with Windows 10? If I disable the hands-free Bluetooth profile they just completely stop working. If I disconnect the hands-free Bluetooth profile however, they work for a minute or two, until the hands-free reconnects.
