Yes, there seems to be a light at the end of the COVID tunnel, but we continue to be safe and conduct our programs remotely. We are so appreciative of the positive attitude our students have had throughout this time. Here are some recent photos from our Middle School Academy.

We are excited to share the news that one of our college freshman superstars - Franchesca - was accepted into the Launch@Apple internship, a competitive program for first-generation college freshmen interested in finance. Congratulations, Franchesca. We are so proud of you!

It is not all academics for our Middle School Academy students. Thanks to the creativity of our staff, the kids are also getting some exercise and learning to become artists during the remote sessions on Zoom.

We love how our Middle School Academy has incorporated the college life of Peninsula Bridge student Brianna into one of their lessons. Brianna is in her freshman year at Yale.

The Peninsula Bridge Choice Program helps break down any barriers our 5th and 8th graders may face while applying to the Peninsula's top independent schools. This year, we supported 44 students through our Choice Program and we are so excited about the results!

When did you learn about Artificial Intelligence (AI)? Doubt it was in middle school. Well, our Middle School Academy students learned about AI recently during one of their STEM workshops. During some of the STEM workshops, hand-on experiments are conducted, even through Zoom.

A big Peninsula Bridge shout out to the volunteers at Sutro Biopharma who took part in a resume development and cover letter workshop for our high school seniors last Friday. Our students really appreciated the guidance, and we are so appreciative of Sutro's engagement and support.

At Peninsula Bridge, we don't just provide programs and resources for the kids. We are also committed to supporting their families. For example, we recently held a parents education workshop on mental health that was conducted by a couple licensed marriage and family therapists.

95% of the Class of 2021 were accepted to at least 1 college - including Brown, Claremont McKenna, Tufts, & UC Berkeley... just to name a few. And, 95% of our seniors will be the first in their family to attend college! We are so proud of our seniors!

Last week, we celebrated our Class of 2021 with a virtual graduation ceremony. The seniors were presented, Daisy was awarded the Carole Haensel Scholarship Award, and Luis spoke inspiring words as the Class Speaker. Congrats to the Class of 2021! We are so proud of all of you.

We are thrilled to share that Jorge, a college senior and member of our first college cohort, will graduate from Denison University this spring with an offer to join FICO, a data analytics company, as a full-time financial analyst. Way to go, Jorge!
