Interesting take! In financial markets a 1% daily improvement compounded for a year is impossible, but in my experience it’s absolutely doable when building! #shipsunday

People in the start-up world routinely mock McK-BCG-Bain as not useful, almost negative value. But in enterprise sales you find few candidates with a better experience

Contrary to popular belief, it's probably the best time ever to be an engineer. The leverage you now have with AI is unbelievably crazy. And AI lets you subsume more and more of the roles that you used to rely on and wait around for. Golden age for engineering.

With vibe coding, 2 things are true. The vast majority of people won’t create custom apps because they don’t want the hassle of defining and maintaining them. And, yet, we will have 10X more software because there’s a long tail of workflows that have no obvious vendor.

We are currently building inhouse CRM. Not to save the per seat price, but because our providor does not seem to do anything in AI. We also want to use the context we already have about our leads and customers in our own app to automate outreach.

In my experience, great products requires iteration (you cannot just spec it and have it delivered). I was always limited by how fast I could write the code to see the next iteration. With LLMs that limit is now mostly gone. What a fantastic time to build!
