I tried management for a couple of years. Although the experience was amazing and I learnt a lot, I preferred to continue my career as an IC. I don't regret it at all!

I've decided to spend the rest of my life fighting to reduce the number of #microservices in the company that I'm working for at that moment.

I'd missed the scary (but lovely) technical meetings. Especially the moments I'm thinking the results are going to be completely opposite of what I wanted to see.

Sometimes an easy DevOps task can eat my whole day! Didn't know that you cannot easily mount multiple files in the same directory. Or you cannot have map of secrets when you don't want to add it as a text (Because of SealedSecret) I'm so happy that I'm not a DevOps engineer :)

Recently my interest in Java has risen, so it became reasonable to switch my GoLand, a JetBrains IDE to IntelliJ IDEA, a JetBrains IDE. It's really amazing to see how modular this IDE is. I'm writing code in two different languages in the same IDE and both of them feel so natural. Great job JetBrains 👌🏻

Time to time, Amazon terrible looking app reminds me again that you neither necessarily need a proper design, nor a remarkable native app to be the leader in a field.

I was helping a friend on a simple #TS (which I don’t know) task, and ChatGPT told me that you can’t await a promise in a sync function anyhow. I thought it’s impossible, as it didn’t make sense at all. Turned out it did. I always forget that this sh*t is single-threaded.
