This week Year 3 and 4 enjoyed a visit from the circus and learning how to spin plates.

This week year 3 and 4 tried to find as many questions as they could for our answers. We were very impressed with the questions they came up with. Great work!

Year 3 and 4 enjoyed learning about fractions on the playground.

Mr Hunt has been teaching Y5 about Mayan chocolate culture ... There is nothing like a bit of cayenne pepper and cinnamon to spice up your hot chocolate.

We have had a very successful transition day today. The children were very excited to find out who their new teacher is for September!

We started our new English topic today, the children cleaned some toys in preparation for learning How to Wash a Woolly Mammoth. Fun was had by all!

Year 3 and 4 had a great time today learning about electricity and creating their own circuits to investigate conductors.

We are so proud of the effort and presentation that Year 3 and 4 have put into their homework this half term. Here are some of the brilliant models brought into school and some examples of the fabulous work we have received.

Year 3 and 4 have been working very hard to create their own corridor cave. Inspired by the Lascaux cave network in France, the children have used paint to spray around their hands as well as charcoal and pastels to create some fabulous cave drawings.

The children in Year 3 and 4 have really enjoyed the start of our new science topic which is Light. This week, they loved investigating how light travels and learning why need light and what happens if there is no light.
