Every year of my life there's been a Govt that I've never voted for. A Govt based in another Country whom have different views to myself and fellow Scots. It's not controversial to want to run our own affairs ... It's just doing what normal Countries do!

How can you simultaneously argue that the Supreme Court addresses only legal matters and yet contend that it looks at the effect as well as the purpose of any referendum. The effect surely comes under the heading of political.

I often think how ridiculous the Union will look when it is viewed through the lens of history after independence. Historians will look back and wonder how it took so long. An example in my next tweet:

As a Scot, I would never dream of going to live in England & working against English people who only want the right to govern their own country. IMHO that would be politically, culturally & socially wrong. Surely each nation on these islands deserves to govern itself?
