The first stop of the day is Donker Lane Dairy, featuring DeLaval DeepBlue artificial intelligence with Behaviour Analysis for eating, rumination and location 📊 Thank you to the Donkers family for having us and a great tour from Alec! #pdotour #dairy

Tour stop at Spekhaven Dairy 🐄 This barn features a hybrid ventilation system - natural ventilation combined with cross ventilation. 💨 It uses Abbi-Aerotech fans to move air across the width of the barn. Thanks to Andrew and the VanderSpek’s for the tour ! #pdotour #dairy

Blanshard Dairy has a modified tunnel ventilation system, with ECV (cyclone) fans over the cows to maximize air speed at the stall level🐄 A great tour stop thanks to Kevin and the Reijnen family! #pdotour #dairy

Our final tour stop: a visit to Koskamp Family Farms Ltd., where we learned about water buffalo dairy 🐃 They milk both Holsteins and buffaloes, and we got to see key differences between them. Thanks Philip, Henry and the Koskamp family for a fascinating tour!
