Karnataka Cabinet has approved ₹17,780 crore car-only tunnels from Hebbal to Silk Board. Tunnels cost ₹1,000 crore/km to build and charge ₹325. Metro on the same route costs ₹400–500 crore/km and charges just ₹60. Why choose this costly option over the affordable Metro?
