Why does Mediacom Support keep insisting that I have service (and thus canceling my appointment) when my line is literally lying on the ground disconnected?

I’ve given up asking when Mediacom Support will restore my service. Now I’m asking why none of their public hotspots work. Tried to connect for the first time ever and was told: Sorry, you’re already logged in on 5 other devices.

There is really nothing like being without internet service for going on three weeks and then getting a bill for the entire period my service has been out. Mediacom Support
