This morning Green Watch were called to a refuse lorry fire in Hilsea. On arrival quick thinking staff got safely to their depot and emptied the load to stop the fire from spreading to the lorry. Inside was this lithium ion battery which someone had thrown away in their bin.

#BordonFire03 hosted the PHEH Development School yesterday evening. This enables development firefighters to #network, build and enhance on existing #firefighter skills. We covered #SWAH, #IFCOATs and using various #HIOWFRS ladders including rescuing casualties from high risk situations.

PHEH Development School took place at Bordon Fire Station last night, great turn out from on-call FFs. Lots of learning with SWAH, pumps n ladders, time critical rescues and IFCOATs. Had some good little time fillers so nobody got cold standing around. Well done to everyone involved🚒

Early call this morning for Green Watch at 03:26 for 3 persons trapped on a ledge half way up chalk cliff in Paulsgrove.
