Some history: the first women’s lacrosse game was played in 1890 at St. Leonard’s School in Scotland where the headmistress organized a game after watching the Canghuwaga play the Montreal Lacrosse Club. Prior to this, women weren’t allowed to play. #WomensHistoryMonth (1/5)
