Born in Pontefract, 6th August 1894, George Schofield. Came from Southport juniors in 1920, he played just once for United in a 1-1 draw away to Bolton in September 1920. He moved on to Crewe Alexandra in May 1922. #MUFC #UTFR #GGMU #ManchesterUnited
