Remembering the late and legendary Red, Tom Clare on what would have been his birthday. I used to love the stories he told me of his Grandad, who introduced him to United, and who had been supporting the Reds since their Newton Heath days.

Today’s badge of the day. I had a break from X yesterday, fed up with the negativity. Call it the Goldbridge effect. Here’s a reminder of happier times. It’s Wazza!

15th April 2018, Jazz and I had been invited in to the DHL box at Old Trafford for the 0-1 defeat to WBA. Despite the disappointing result at least I got to meet two of my all time hero’s in Pancho and Jimbo! Also met Alan Halsall from Corrie plus a few other legends.

Remembering this day in 1989. But for a poor decision in the quarter final against Forest, we may have made the Semi’s that year and if so I doubt Hillsborough would have been chosen as a semi final venue.
