So they’re going to fine a team who hasn’t played for a title since 97, has never picked 1st overall, got screwed in the lottery last season & haven’t made the playoffs since 22’ all because they sat some players but still won 2 games? This is what’s actually wrong with the NBA.

"...the Jazz removed two of the team's top players...before the beginning of the 4Q and did not return them to the game" 1) Ok so if Will Hardy sits Markkanen the entire 3Q and plays him in the 4Q instead, is that acceptable? 2) They won that Heat game! 3) They won that Heat

Last March, ahead of the Cooper Flagg draft, the Toronto Raptors routinely benched All-Star Scottie Barnes in clutch situations. They sat regularly starters for DNP-Rest. They were not punished or fined. Today, Adam Silver dropped the hammer on the Utah Jazz for the same thing.

So the Jazz get fined 5x more for PLAYING its star players, including one with a knee tumor, in limited minutes, than the team that benched three of its starters for no reason all. This league is a joke.
