We may not have placed 1st but we were #1 in spirit! UNE plankton lab had fun participating in the UNE Marine Science Center Olympics featuring a survival suit tournament, crab toss, blind pipetting, pin the tail on the lobster, and more.

The weather didn’t stop us from doing our biggest day of sampling from Saco Bay to 12 miles offshore! Pretty views of the coastline too.

Last week of sampling for the summer undergraduate students University of New England! Very proud of my two students that helped me get my lab off the ground, I couldn’t have done it without them!
