Tom Hardy once said, "At your very best, you still won't be good enough for the wrong person, but at you absolute worst, you'll still be worth it to the right person." Read that twice.

Entrepreneurship is hard. You'll: - lose money - and sleep - and time - get sued - and stolen from But... Working a 9 to 5 is hard. You'll be: - underpaid - not promoted - under-challenged - hate bosses All of it is hard. So choose your hard.

Hey Spectrum really annoying we’ve been w/o internet for nearly 6 hrs, was told it would be fixed by 8p MT. No new updates. I work remotely so I’ve been using my Starlink that’s typically intended for when I travel only. Can we get an update? Issue resolved? Something?

Hey Starbucks EA tried to correct my drink at p/up. Barista told her it was “right” & she didn’t know how to read. I ordered a hot, not cold coffee! Please teach compassion. Take a page from The Ritz-Carlton & empower baristas to fix a customer’s need w/o making them feel inferior.

I’m convinced that 99% of a successful marriage is just genuinely enjoying each other’s company. People make these long lists of traits they want to find in a partner, but so much of life just comes down to being kind and pleasant to be around.

Stop romanticizing the grind. The goal isn't to work yourself to death. It's to build something that works while you live your life.

Trying is irrelevant. You have to be willing to move the fucking world. Follow up 30 times in a row. Call once an hour. Bake their mom's favorite pie. Do whatever it takes. The issue isn't that the problem is too big, it's that your commitment to solving it is too small.

Pro tip: If you're afraid to take the risk, write down in excruciating detail what you're actually afraid of having happen. Step by step what happens next when you fail. You'll often find it's not so bad when you spell it out. Fear exists in the vague, not the specific.
