I am pleased but not surprised. Twenty years ago the BBC was accused, and rightfully so, of a similar bias against Israel during the Second Intifada. Hopefully the General's assessment combined with the Asserson Report will lead to more objective reporting, but I have my doubts.

Great photo Norma - and interesting handbag too. Ted, like Tim Cook, is a humble but brilliant guy. Canadian military history is so much richer for his work. Thanks for sharing.

Terry Copp, CM, Professor Emeritus at Wilfrid Laurier University and a titan among Canadian military historians, was honoured today at a reception celebrating his appointment to the Order of Canada. Humble as always, he felt his inspired students were equally key to the honour.

They're not just against a bookstore. They're against a bookstore because it's owned by a Jew. That's a crime. That's willfully promoting hatred against an identifiable group. Charge them.

America has retreated from its own "fundamental values." Putin's goal has always been to dissasemble NATO He has nearly achieved his goal. NATO should not wait for Trump to announce U.S. is leaving the alliance IAW Article 13 of the Charter, but actively encourage them to do so.

If the U.S. military is given direct orders to seize Greenland—pull down another nation’s flag, and then claim the ground in the name of the United States—every senior commander has a moral obligation to refuse to accept or support such a command. theatlantic.com/ideas/archive/…

Foch wanted to continue, but Haig agreed only after a 4 day pause. Attritional warfare had returned & the Canadian Corps was tasked "to maintain a steady pressure on the enemy." Over the next week it sustained 2,748 additional casualties, more men than it had lost on 9 August.
