That's it for 2024! Thank you for all your support over the last year from our visitors and volunteers. Our Cakey Ladies will now be having a well-deserved rest for a few weeks, but our site volunteers will still be working hard over the winter break - and we will see you in 2025

We're delighted to say that our Mill Race Tea Room will re-open on Saturday 1st March at 10.30. It will be open Saturdays and Sundays from 10.30 to 3.30, with last food orders at 3pm. Our site volunteers have been working hard over the winter as well every Tuesday and Thursday.

Thank you to all our visitors who popped along to see us this weekend - our first open weekend of the 2025 season! It was lovely to welcome you back. The Mill Race Tea Room is open again this weekend from 10.30 to 3.30, with last food orders at 3. We hope to see everyone soon!

It's forecast to be a beautiful weekend - why don't you pop in for some fresh air and see what our amazing volunteers have been up to over the winter? We are open from 10.30 to 30.30 Saturday and Sunday, with last orders in the Mill Race Tearoom at 3pm.

With the lighter, brighter days coming (we hope), we are teaming up with Ben from Take a Hike to do a series of Health and Wellbeing Walks around the local area. Please come along on 29th March to find out more! It will be lovely to see you.

Come along a week on Saturday, on 29th March, to discover more about the Community and Family walks that Ben from Take a Hike is leading. Discover our lovely area with a day of fully guided, family friendly walks - and why not pop into the Mill for a restorative cuppa afterwards!

Just a reminder that this Saturday we are working with Ben from Take a Hike to do some wonderful Community and Family Nature Walks. Join us for a day of gentle Heath and Wellbeing walks around the local area - all fully guided and at a very comfortable pace, from 10am until 2pm.

Thanks to everyone who attended the Brick Swap this weekend. We had visitors from as far afield as Torquay!

We are open this weekend for Easter, Saturday and Sunday from 10.30 to 3.30, with last food orders at the Mill Race Tea Room at 3pm. We have a raffle and Easter competition running, and the flowers are starting to come out so the site looks beautiful.

Join us on 10th May for one of our popular gentle hatha yoga sessions, including a meditation and relaxation. Please bring a yoga mat, warm layers and a waterproof jackets as we will be outdoors!

Join us on 12th June for one of our popular quizzes in aid of Mill funds. These events get booked up super quickly, so make sure of your ticket by popping into the tea room at the weekend and signing up for it. Tickets are £5 each and include a bacon or sausage sandwich.

Join us for "possibly" the best dog show in the north east - we certainly have the best dogs visiting us! Our "Scrufts" event is on 14th June form 12 until 3. Take a look at the wonderful categories below - can your furry friend enter any of them? We are sure they can.

Our quiz is a fortnight today - tickets are £5 each and there is limited availability. If you don't have your ticket yet and would like to go, please pop into the tea room on Saturday or Sunday to speak to the volunteers. Thank you!
