I believe the key to strong homes and healthy churches is the fortifying of the men. Thrilled to have 85+ men on the first night of a new program on biblical manhood. There is a powerful movement of men seeking to love Jesus and grow as godly men. Pray for us!

We had a neighborhood power loss right as our Easter service started. After 5 minutes of getting everything turned back on, the rest of the service was electric! The music was powerful and stirring. A couple people received Christ! A big thank you to everyone involved!

Enjoyed our time in beautiful Colorado with Dean Miller at his church’s couples retreat. Wonderful scenery, hospitality, and fellowship with great people.

Excited to be on this BIMI connect missions trip to the Amazon. Our group of 14 will meet up with about 15 others and go up and down villages off the Amazon river for a few days meeting spiritual and physical needs.

The power and effectiveness of expository preaching is it makes a church healthier even if they don’t realize it. It’s likely that many don’t recognize what was the greatest message they ever heard because entertainment is the emotional criteria rather than biblical exegesis.

Great start to our 25th anniversary trip!

Business on the front, party at the back! Tonight’s deacons’ meeting came with cake on the agenda — because it is our church’s 99th anniversary! These are grest men with great families. Calvary is blessed with wonderful deacons who each serve in their own way.

Charlie Kirk rallied thousands of young people to turn to or continue to embrace conservative values. All he did was have engaging and respectful dialogue with people he disagreed with. To kill him is a sad commentary on America. Pray for his family and pray for our country.

A young couple started coming to our church a couple months ago because their kids came on our shuttle bus and also attended our church-sponsored Bible clubs in their elementary and middle schools. Today, I was thrilled to see the wife receive salvation in Jesus Christ!

Great final night to our annual missions conference! Wonderful response at all services. It keeps getting better and better. Thankful for a church that loves and spoils missionaries.

I enjoyed a few quick but busy days at West Coast Baptist College. Thankful for the opportunity to preach in chapel and interact with so many great young people training for the ministry. Every staff member was gracious and genuine, and I appreciate the time with Pastor Chappell.

What a sacrifice, that saved my life, oh the blood…it is my victory!

Spending the day planning next year’s church calendar with the staff. We’ve laughed, cried, yelled, tossed out some ideas, discussed a few new things, and it’s going well. Friends have become enemies, enemies have become friends! 😃Incredibly thankful for each of these people.

Principle from 1 Peter 4:9 - If you truly believe life is short and Jesus is coming soon, then stop whining and complaining every time you have to do something for the people of God. Show hospitality without grumbling. As John Henry Jowett said, “True love is a splendid host.”

I love our church PrimeTimers group and their fun spirit and faithfulness. Had a great time with them celebrating Thanksgiving a little early.

Our Christmas candlelight service is a special time as a church family every year. Also rejoicing that one person indicated they prayed to receive salvation today! Missing our son today, but happy to have our future son-in-law with us.

Absolutely thrilled with the turnout and excitement for church outreach as we passed out Easter invitations! What a blessing these dear people are to me.

I’m grateful for the privilege of meeting in a house church last night in a Kichwa village in Ecuador. In a region dominated by witchcraft, they assume all suffering is from sin. I was able to teach these believers several things God is trying to accomplish in us through trials.
