Aaron Connolly is an interesting one. Adds competition up front, could work out as he had a lot of potential at Brighton. Certainly doesn't hurt to have another option. #SAFC

The league is there to be taken this season. It is naturally a poorer division than previous years. If we come out of the next 4 or 5 games and are still Top 2 or 3, I'd say we're in a fantastic place to be considered as challengers for automatics. Tough few games. #SAFC

If you have any doubts whether Rigg could now be a Sunderland fan...look into Carragher's story about going from Everton to Liverpool. It does happen. Not saying he hates the Mags, but he definitely loves Sunderland. #SAFC
