as much as i love writing in a hero's pov, i love working on characters that refuse the role of a hero and choose to pick and save themselves. they might be viewed as selfish and weak and a coward but they don't regret it one bit. they're just happy w their life

Yesterday at my book signing, a woman I didn’t know came just for me. Her 10-yo granddaughter had been in a car accident and paralyzed 6 weeks ago. With tears in her eyes she asked me questions. She took a book, hugged it and then me. This is what it is all about. ❤️
