Disliking Sally/not wanting her back because she has a contingent of annoying fans makes you sound like an ass. Sally is fully capable of functioning in the modern Sonic canon without any of her Archie baggage, that includes ever having been in a relationship with Sonic.

Slightly more Archie related than SatAM, but back in 1998, a fan actually reached out to Archie Sonic artist Patrick "Spaz" Spaziante and commissioned him to do an art piece of Sonic and Sally's marriage. While the commissioner's name is unknown, the art piece still survives!

Today, 33 Years ago, the first issue of Archie Sonic, Issue Number 0, was released, with it also marking the debut of Sally, Antoine and Rotor! Happy 33rd, Sally!
