We lost a very good boy last week. One of Parks Canada’s canine members Cazz, has passed away. To say that Cazz had a full and distinguished career is an understatement. Thank you Cazz, for your service to one and all. 🐾❤️

Ice skaters are reminded to check the lake ice thickness very carefully. The recommended minimum thickness for ice skating is 15 cm or 6" of solid ice Having equipment available for self rescue (PFD's, rope, ice picks) can be very useful in areas with unknown ice thickness.
