Yesterday, Parks Canada, on behalf of #GoC, commemorated the de Gannes-Cosby House (1708) of #AnnapolisRoyal, with a Historic Sites and Monuments Board of Canada plaque. The house is a rare surviving example of a pre-Deportation residence in Acadia. #HSMBC

Today marks the 106th anniversary of the #HalifaxExplosion, which shattered Halifax's North End and the Mi'kmaw community of Turtle Grove, on the other side of the Narrows. @HalifaxCitadel NHS will mark the moment of the explosion by firing a cannon from the ramparts at 9:04:35.
