Mothers, fathers, kids, nurses, medics, teachers, engineers...we're Park View Neighbors. The park's part of our community. A 9-story-plus-penthouse tower's not.

Today, Brianne K. Nadeau actively campaigned on destroying and gentrifying this park widely used by our diverse community. Instead of proposing real investment in affordable housing, she proposes privatization -- pitting parks vs housing. Unacceptable.
FYI Brianne K. Nadeau refuses to say why she supports putting a flood of hundreds of new cars directly on the small street ambulances use to take kids to Children's Hospital -- without so much as an impact study. Especially in these times, kids facing emergency deserve better.
Why did Brianne K. Nadeau lose her mandate with less than 50% of the vote in the Democratic primary? Maybe it's because she wants to privatize public land, take away community centerpieces for residents in Ward 1, and allow enrich developers by building penthouse towers here.
Veteran William Robinson sees kids crying when their Bruce Monroe Park jungle gym has not been repaired for over 6 months. This is an easy opportunity for Mayor Muriel Bowser and other government officials to help local kids and families.
Another beautiful day, another gathering in Bruce Monroe Community Park that Brianne K. Nadeau is fully willing to destroy in pursuit of a penthouse tower. The community is fighting back.
Another beautiful day of the community enjoying the functions of Bruce Monroe Park. Thanks. DC Parks & Recreation #WhereFunHappens for the community event!
For the fourth week in a row, DC Parks & Recreation #WhereFunHappens is sponsoring a community event at Bruce Monroe Park. Why on earth would Brianne K. Nadeau want to rob the community of our ability to hold these events by building a 9-story-plus-penthouse tower on top of this park???
For the 5th week in a row, thanks to DC Parks & Recreation #WhereFunHappens for bringing the fun to our beloved park, Bruce Monroe. The fun wagon is here!
Thank you DC Parks & Recreation #WhereFunHappens for a great set of neighborly activities in Bruce Monroe Community Park as part of Open Streets DC!
