We started @plantfortworth because we knew that @paradoxftworth couldn’t do it alone. The need for healthy churches is too great. The growth of FtW is too fast. The Glory of God too important. We've planted 11 churches in its first few years & we’re praying for 189 more!

“Revelation provides a set of Christian prophetic counter-images which impress on its readers a different vision of the world…a visual power that purges the Christian imagination, refurbishing it with alternative visions of how the world is & will be." —Bauckham The Paradox Church

Church, look at Jesus when you need strength...get a vision of the Son of Man ferocious and fearless for us...he's right here in the midst of us, with us. (See Revelation 1:13). The Paradox Church

This will be our last Sunday at the Ridglea Theater...so many memories these last 2+ years. Jesus is faithful. We have gathered as The Paradox Church in many places: old churches & new; old theaters & new; even a park. It doesn't matter where (or when), it's what and who and why.

Don’t let the world gentrify your spiritual heart after you move into the neighborhood with your missional cultural engagement. It’s the light that overcomes the darkness, not the other way around. acts29.com/why-plant-new-…

How do you render a generation of Christians completely ineffective for the kingdom? Tell them they're mentally unstable. Tell them there is something wrong them. Tell them it's not normal to not be completely happy and comfortable all the time.

“Come, everyone who thirsts, come to the waters; and he who has no money, come, buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without price. Why do you spend your money for that which is not bread, and your labor for that which does not satisfy?" —Isaiah 55:1–2
