What an exciting and inspiring first day at the DKG '23: Planetary Futures, meeting old and new friends here in #Frankfurt. Daniel Wagner kicked off the session of Johannes Glückler and Robert Panitz on Social Networks with his talk about innovation collaboration within the field of #bioeconomy.

Robert Panitz wraps up this first day of the #DGNet2023 by presenting the results of his study on how network research is taught at universities in German. He found that network research is taught more often and widespread than anticipated, but there are 3 gaps 👇

1: methodologically, it is often not taught how to collect network data 2: ethical questions around the collection of network data often remain unanswered 3: networks are primarily only being analysed descriptively #DGNet2023

Jakob Hoffmann is presenting his work on scouts as an opportunity for corporations to acquire new knowledge from within and outside the organization. He is focusing on the role of informal scouts, making them visible through the #SONA method. #GeoInno2024
