Yall catastrophize so quickly lol. It's natural that a book following two high-level professional athletes in their 30s would include addressing that their bodies are aging and they can't play for their entire lives. That arc makes so much sense for Shane specifically.

I don’t want to catastrophize but I really hope Shane won’t be giving up or walking away from hockey. Or even have a season ending injury. It’s one thing to be “ya my body creaks when I breathe I should realize that I won’t be playing till 100” and another thing to be on LTIR
