Very honoured today to receive the Australian Mathematical Society most prestigious award - George Szekeres Medal - at joint meetings with the American Mathematical Society and NZ Mathematical Society in Auckland. My research in general relativity was partly inspired by work of George Szekeres! Australian Academy of Science ourANU
