These two young juvenile wood pigeon 'squabs' unfortunately fell with their nest when a tree was being cut down. The trees were checked beforehand (👍), but accidents happen, these birds breed all year round, but the owners quickly called us for help. They'll grow up with us now

Teddy bear amnesty! Do you have good, clean teddies or plushies that can comfort our young animals? Ducks and foxes love snuggling up to them (and destroying them 😬). If you do, please bring them to us in Blewbury. Our orphans will be very grateful 🙏

Remember the two #TawnyOwl owlets that fell from their nest last year? Well, today, we rescued two more babies in a similar condition 😔 Found on the ground, they were soaked, cold, had flystrike and were very hungry 💔 we don't know what happened to them, but they're safe now

#FoxOfTheDay This beautiful little chap was found suckling from his dead mother, who had been poisoned 😡 Two of his siblings died as a result of ingesting the poison, but 3 have survived and will be cared for by us until they grow up. Please! Don't put poison down

Peregrine Falcon 😍 the fastest animal on Earth! We think this unlucky boy flew into a wall in #Oxford City centre in pursuit of his prey. He has a broken wing but it is fixable 🤞 Shout out to the Oxford City Council worker who found & stayed with him and kept curious onlookers away❤️

This injured and drenched Tawny owlet was found yesterday by children at Charlton Primary in Wantage. He's managed to bust his wing 😔 we're working hard to see if it can be fixed and viable. The kids have named him 'Hootie'. Let's hope we can help this beautiful creature

We have many owls in atm - this Short Earred Owl is not a common admission for us. It was found near Banbury and may have been involved in an RTC. Fortunately, the broken wing can be fixed, so this lovely creature will once again fly free ❤️

Hootie update! Fortunately, his wing isn't broken 😊 He's made friends with some of our other Tawny owlets of the same age and loves his food (Hootie's on the LHS in pic). Once he can fend for himself, he'll be released back to the wild 😃

We are very sad to hear of Simon's passing 😔 such a kind man who always had time to help, not just the animals but others who work in the sector. Our thoughts are with his friends and family and all at Wildlife Aid.

Pretty rare admission today, a leucistic #hedgehog ! 1/100,000 chance! Found out during the day (always bad - call a rescue asap!) With her siblings (which are normal colour), they were starving and dehydrated but are now doing well here at the rescue 😀
