We have loved doing our #Ten4Tweddle movement challenge this week, culminating in a whole school version at the end of sharing assembly!

We’ve been working hard in the sun, with a real focus on our technique!

We’ve been throwing and catching in PE today. The aim was to throw over arm. We had to learn a different technique for throwing!

More lively fun in the sun today! We’ve been competitively throwing and defending in #OverchurchPE in some mini 4 v 1 games. We needed tactics and good technique to score points!

We have had a fantastic afternoon in Forest School with Mrs Collins. Mrs Hill was impressed by how safely we played and how carefully we listened especially in the ‘fire circle”. #OverchurchEco

We’ve been busy in PE making choices about which of our throwing skills we need to use to complete a task. We used rolls, over arm and under arm throws. We took time to reflect on which worked best for the different targets we aimed at #OverchurchPE

This afternoon, we have been getting ready for our Sports Day on Friday!

Our school Overchurch Infants are so lucky to have received a huge donation for our Eco-Schools England project from the very generous Carr Farm Garden Centre! We are absolutely thrilled and so grateful for your support 💚

We’ve been for a visit at the juniors this morning… We had a yoga session and felt very relaxed. 🧘

We visited the junior school again to participate in an oracy assembly. Lots of great speaking and listening.

We’ve met Miss Mercer, our new junior teacher! We’re very excited about going to juniors tomorrow.

The children had a wonderful time in Liverpool yesterday and were a credit to Overchurch Infants! #overchurchhistory
