#Fossils and fresh air are a perfect combination. And don't worry, it's an ever changing landscape. The dedication and hard work from the #tuskforce team volunteers is ticking along nicely.

Excavated with Rock Boffins , a beautifully preserved unknown at present partial humerus from an ice age beasty. After setting up a line on this ledge to work at, nice and steady. Patience paid off shall work at it again today ⚒️ #tuskforce- ING Hills Quarry Products dig site 🦣 #fossilfriday

Picked up a #Trionyx sp carapace costal piece missing its spike for #fossilfriday from the Isle of Wight. #Oligocene in age these turtle remains are possibly from the time when they returned to land to lay their eggs on the shorelines. Turtley awesome 👇 wp.me/p3Hr3a-AD

If you're curious what's going on at the Nottingham Natural History Museum go to Mastodon 👇 glammr.us/@GeorgeTheGori… looked at a display being made. Built around 400 + #ichthyosaur bones we found and donated on a field trip with the Stamford and District Geological Society 2016

Three years ago this week, we were wrapping up the excavation of the ‘Rutland Sea Dragon’, AKA the 10-metre-long ichthyosaur found by Joe Davis at the Rutland Water Nature Reserve. The two photos were taken a year apart (2021-2022).

That slow stealth 40 second walk, really gives you a sense of size with this incredible discovery. I wonder how many times we walked that path over 3 weeks 🤯 getting your steps in for #fossilfriday

Tiny #teleosaurid jaw fragment I found from the Oxford Clay-Peterborough formation for #fossilfriday once with millimetre sized pin pointed teeth. Remember seeing a similar piece on display Leicester Museums & Galleries Dr Mark Evans
