In May, Amb. @Ph_Etienne traveled to #Indiana. From meetings with 🇫🇷🇺🇸 leaders to a tour of Fort Ouiatenon to a track walk of Indianapolis Motor Speedway (where Simon Pagenaud made history 😉)– the visit highlighted multifaceted Franco-American ties in the Midwest.
Thank you to Lisa Kahn French Heritage Society Chicago for leading the exciting project of “French Heritage Corridor” in the #Midwest. The project is owned by local communities and is being endorsed at all levels. We are proud supporters, here Consulate of France in Chicago and with Embassy of France in the U.S.
It was an honor to attend the “54th Annual Feast of the Hunters’ Moon”to represent 🇫🇷 together with Consul General Yannick Tagand. Thank you TippecanoeHistory for hosting us on the historic grounds of the French outpost of Fort Ouiatenon.
