The Gaza genocide is nearing its final, most brutal phase, and Israeli universities are providing intellectual, logistical, and technological support. The academic boycott of Israeli institutions is the minimum that justice demands. mondoweiss.net/2025/05/studen…

According to the latest geospatial assessment carried out by Food and Agriculture Organization and UNOSAT only 4.6% of cropland area in Gaza is available for cultivation, 80.8% is damaged, and 77.8% is not accessible as a result of Israel's genocidal policies. There are no survival means in blockaded Gaza.

People are burning Waymos because they are vile representations of governance that has valued profit over the public good: they represent labor replacement, the decimation of public transport, & wild sci-fi fantasies being privileged over common sense.

Border and Rule is available for free download! I wrote a book spanning ICE & borders, Palestine & policing, colonialism & global fascism - in service to internationalist struggles. I can no longer travel to US, but this book (and others!) can come to u haymarketbooks.org/blogs/525-free…

Phenomenal piece of reporting and writing on Gaza and the collapse of international humanitarian law by Suzy Hansen. Total clarity of purpose.

As a scholar of the school-to-prison pipline, & even more, as a Black mom, I'm horrified at that another generation of Black, Indigenous and racialized kids may be exposed to police-in-school programs after they've already been ended due to harm. Plz come out this Thursday at 12!

Mark Carney was asked whether the US strikes on Iran violated international law. He ignored the substance of the question and listed off a bunch of grievances the West has with Iran. It’s a shameful and cowardly response from someone who claims to defend international law.

This is not business as usual. My new UN report, From Economy of Occupation to Economy of Genocide, is out today. It shows how corporations have fueled and legitimised the destruction of Palestine. Genocide, it would seem, is profitable. This cannot continue, accountability must

I am horrified by how many academics are using AI to summarize research papers and books, not reading them otherwise. Intellectual integrity is meaningful, good-faith engagement with other people's ideas and the experience of learning their ideas on the terms set by the author

Every editor who canceled a story about Palestine brought us here. Every boss who censored an employee. Everyone who said “not this way” to protesters. Every university admin calling the cops. Bloody. All your hands are bloody, and we will never forget.

An appeal to folks on this platform…pls consider supporting grassroots mutual aid work regularly in Palestine, Congo and Sudan. I recommend Friends of the Congo and The Sameer Project and Sudan Solidarity Collective but there are so many others too! $10 a month goes a long way. Bcm a monthly donor.

“Potatoes were refused due to their long shelf life. Dates were deemed a "luxury" item.” Many of these restrictions have been upheld by rulings of the Israeli Supreme Court. Genocidal starvation is a process developed over decades through legalized, suffocating restrictions.

I have no words anymore. States. Must. Intervene. This isn’t genius, it’s leadership. 1. Impose an arms embargo and cut trade. 2. Break the blockade with your humanitarian navies. 3. Send a protective presence to Palestine to ensure Israel dismantles its occupation NOW.

On Gaza, the CBC has omitted key context, downplayed war crimes, and yielded to lobby pressure. By sanitizing Israel’s genocide, it has left Canadians uninformed, indifferent, and complicit. canadiandimension.com/articles/view/…
