Children don’t “bounce back” from trauma. They bury it. And buried trauma doesn’t vanish it leaks out later as anxiety, rage, shame, addiction, and self-destruction. So no, kids aren’t resilient. They’re hurting.

1. The Arrival Fallacy You think there’s a destination where you’ll finally feel "enough." You graduate. You get the job. You hit the revenue goal. But the feeling of safety you’re chasing isn't in the achievement. It’s in the nervous system regulation you’re skipping over to

I used to think that people were rational and you could just show them facts and evidence and they would be open to new ideas. Then I learned about cognitive dissonance, doublethink, and the herd mentality.

Can we please normalise kids of the opposite gender being friends without making a comment about them being boyfriend/girlfriend or getting married in the future because that used to creep me out so bad as a child.

I was in a meeting today where the room number was 404. I joked that I couldn't find the room and nobody understood. This is why I have a hard time making friends.

My unpopular opinion is that your friends shouldn’t give you free services. And you shouldn’t expect it. Discounted? Maybe, if they can swing it. Delayed payment if you are in a tight spot? Yes, if they can swing it. Free? No. Your friends must be your base, dependable customers.

Poverty is expensive in a way that people don’t understand. If you can’t afford a dentist you have long term teeth damage. Not affording healthy food means poor health. Not affording ‘good schools’ means missed opportunities. It is a compounding cycle.
