As National Osteoporosis Month comes to a close, we'd like to remind lawmakers that millions of Americans still lack inadequate access to diagnostic tests for this disease. As a consequence, the incidence of hip fractures have increased in the US. buff.ly/2LGrYSn

Thank you CMSGov and Dr. Kate Goodrich for meeting with the #AUC Coalition this morning. We look forward to working with you and Congress to advance a new AUC program that is the least burdensome as possible and better aligned with the MIPS program.

AAOE believes that competition among providers of medical services will ultimately lower costs for patients while increasing the quality of care provided. We hope CMS will work with Congress to continue to pursue policies promoting competition. modernhealthcare.com/payment/judge-…

Provider consolidation is driving up costs for American patients. When there are fewer competitors, patients have fewer choices and prices go up. What’s worse is the lack of competition leads to no pressure to improve quality.
