Big game for a lot of the lads this morning as many of them go to school with or play with the boys from KirkbyParkRangersJFC (KPR) on Sundays. Tough first half that was tightly contested but we did very well in the second half to pull away. Good to go into Xmas with the win. ⚽️⚽️⚽️

Nice way to close out 2023 with a win vs Boca Bucks who battled brilliantly despite being a man short. We end 2023 in decent shape as a team and are looking forward to seeing what 2024 brings. Thanks to all our opponents this year. We’ve enjoyed them all. #upthebilbao

If Liverpool CPL hadn’t provided two 4G pitches over Xmas we would have played once since 28th October. Thank God they did. I have never ever seen so much rain. Depressing as hell. 😫😫😫😫

Pushed all the way today by an excellent KirkbyParkRangersJFC (KPR) who were keen, eager and fully committed all over the pitch. Lads did enough to win the game but it was far from easy. Well done to all the boys on both sides.

Well done to Liverpool CPL for helping us get a game on today and thanks to MSB Woolton FC Fiorentina for taking part in what was an excellent game of football. The lads are working hard on fitness at the moment and it’s beginning to show. On to next week now ⚽️ ⚽️⚽️

On reflection, the decision to cancel games City wide this weekend is an awful one. The council can’t control the weather but they do have the ability to be sensible. Cancelling games 36 hours before a foreseeable improvement in weather is lazy and unnecessary. Shame on them.

For the avoidance of doubt I would like to declare that I definitely will not be the next manager of Liverpool.

On the wrong end of the result against the best team in our league today kingsley u13s. The small pitch not fit for purpose really which didn’t help us. Well done to the ref Joseph who managed the game superbly.

Good win for the lads this morning against River. Pitch made playing good football impossible but credit to our lads who took their chances and the River forward who scored a super long range effort.

Battled to a win this morning against Woolton Genoa. Playing on a tiny pitch that resembled a cabbage patch was never going to allow for much football from either side but we were pleased with the overall performance. On to next week now ⚽️

You couldn’t make it up. Weather is ok, games are on but we are 9 players short; 5 x school boys 1 x broken arm 2 x sick 1 in A&E (but ok) Had to concede the game against @L4jfcunder13 which we would have loved to play. 😩😩😩

Beaten by the better side tonight in Northern. Boys started off brilliantly playing some great football but let them back in it and they kicked on from there to get the victory. No complaints.
