We're grateful to have world-leading resources in Scotland like The University of Edinburgh's FloWave Ocean Energy Research Facility Facility 🙌 This week our engineers have been on-site, analysing our next-generation #tidalenergy technology's response to different sea conditions💪🌊

Exciting to see Scottish Renewables's Renewables360 launched today - a fantastic initiative that invites the world to take a virtual tour of some of Scotland's renewable energy projects! 🙌 Welcome aboard the world's most powerful tidal turbine: scottishrenewables.com/renewables360/…

We're all hands on deck ahead of Ocean Energy Europe in Aviemore 😉 Stop by stand 25 to say hello to the team & check out the SR2000 blade, featured in this year's tech trail - it will be hard to miss it! Full programme here: oceanenergy-europe.eu/annual/program…

What a fantastic Ocean Energy Europe Conference! Great to share our scale-up plans & ambitions to help bring the #tidalenergy sector closer to commercialisation, and discussing our tech with Scotland's Climate Action Minister, Alasdair Allan, was a definite highlight. #oee2024

Great for our Ops Director to share our vision for deploying the first commercial tidal stream project in U.S. waters with our project partners, OPALCO, and with the support of U.S. Department of Energy at the Pacific Marine Expo last week. More info here: lnkd.in/exxYnWyi #PME2024

We're excited to have been selected for a TEAMER award and look forward to working with our partners MarineSitu & University of Washington-APL to develop the engineering design for an Adaptable Environmental Monitoring (AEM) system for our O2-X series turbines!

🌊Revolutionising Energy: How O2 Works 🌊 O2 by Orbital Marine Power is cutting-edge #tidal tech turning ocean currents into clean, renewable energy. 4⃣ 2.4 MW O2 turbines will be a part of EURO-TIDES's tidal farm, operational by 2027. See O2 in action🎬 youtube.com/watch?v=mQrUCM…

Thanks to Alistair Carmichael MP for leading a debate on gov't support for the marine renewables sector & recognising the central role that Orbital has played in the development and deployment of #tidalenergy technology here in the UK🙌

Great to see this report from The University of Edinburgh's Policy and Innovation Group highlighting the important role #tidalstream energy can play in a low-carbon future energy system & the exciting opportunity for a scalable industry grown here in the UK: policyandinnovationedinburgh.org/2024-uk-ocean-…
