The hauntingly lifelike eyes of the Antikythera Youth, perhaps representing Paris, Perseus or a young Hercules. The bronze statue was made around 340 BC but was lost in the now famous Antikythera shipwreck in 70-60 BC and rediscovered on the seabed by sponge divers in 1900.
