BREAKING: Value Added Tax (VAT) will NOT be charged on 70 food items. That means the retail prices of these items will be reduced by 12.5%. Consumers can expect to see LOWER food prices at grocers, small shops and supermarkets island-wide from August 2, 2025.

Four years of moving Saint Lucia Forward and Putting People First.

Prime Minister Pierre disbursed more than $210,000 to over 45 fishers and boat owners who suffered losses due to the passage of Hurricane Beryl last July. Last December, they received over $420,000 from the government to help them get back in their boats and back to fishing.

A cohort of 132 recruits will begin training at the Police Training Academy. Their graduation from the training course will bolster manpower and strengthen the operational capacity of the Royal Saint Lucia Police Force, City Constabulary, and Bordelais Correctional Facility.
