Cheering for Stephen Curry this Olympics has been special. Thanks Bryant Barr and the Penny Jar Capital team for giving us some special gear to cheer him on. Watching him drop that 3 for the lead and then the free throw shots for the dagger?๐Ÿ˜ค๐Ÿ˜ค๐Ÿ˜ค(Night, night)

Building a startup is so similar to golf. 1st hole: bogey. 2nd hole: double bogey....... 7th hole: double bogey... but then you hit that 1 shot and it makes you believe you should quit your day job and dedicate your entire life to golf. But the equivalent is closing a customer.

In English, it's "Night Night." In French, it's "Nuit Nuit." In any language, it means game over. Congratulations to Penny Jar anchor investor and Special Advisor, Stephen Curry, for winning gold! ๐Ÿฅ‡

A sure-way to get a VC to pass on your company is saying you're doing anything else, but working on that company OR that you're waiting for X to happen to quit.

The longer we have been building, the more I realize the role of any product is to take something insanely complicated and making it simple. This is why feature creep is so dangerous.

In startups, the company is often sexier than the role. See big company folks often falling for a startup role only to realize they hate the job. Some can do both well, but they are very different jobs.

I probably believe in the following things a little too much, but have been a huge help to me. 1. Something is never as risky as you think it is 2. The probability that it won't work out is lower than you think 3. Even the worst case scenario isn't actually that bad

โ€œThis is the most difficult problem Iโ€™ve ever had to think throughโ€ - an engineer on our team. Thereโ€™s just something so exciting about that.
