#OnThisDay 1956 Cdr Lionel ‘Buster’ Crabb OBE GM RNVR disappeared HMNB Portsmouth during a visit by the Soviet leader Khrushchev in the Sverdlov class cruiser Ordzhonikidze. British PM Sir Anthony Eden told MPs that it was not in the public interest to discuss the circumstances.
