#OnThisDay in 1972 the IRA murdered Roy Stanton, 28. Married factory worker/off duty UDR shot driving his Mini at Finaghy Park North, having left Autolite factory, Dunmurry, Belfast. 2 female passengers wounded. Survivor: “The girl looked me straight in the eye and shot me.” #OTD
