One of the great things about #Minder is how much space it gave its guest stars to shine in. This episode ‘The Beer Hunter’ features such brilliant banter between Georgina Hale and Brian Glover that it could have been a sitcom all of its own.

While I have no idea why he’s dressed as a junior doctor, IMHO Robbie Williams has a pretty good crack at this the greatest of all theme tunes. He’s not our Dennis but a pretty good effort nonetheless. #Minder

First shown #OnThisDay 1980. Monday Night Fever. Although never a particularly convincing ladies man. There’s a lot of fun in this episode with the great Sheila White. Arthur Daley the lothario was quickly forgotten,so this episode stands out as a bit of an outlier. #Minder

The world is your Lobster 🦞 This iconic line was first used #OnThisDay 1984 in the episode Rocky Eight and a Half. One of the best ever episodes in my opinion. The line was overheard by George Cole’s son in a pub and George payed him £25 for it! Money well spent I’d say..

We’re sad to hear of the passing of Derek Martin. Derek was in two episodes of #Minder. Uncredited as one of Freddie Fenton’s gang in series one and more memorably as Cedric in series 5 The Long Ride Back to Scratchwood. Seen here waking up Mark Farmer’s Justin.

Episode one of series three of #Minder aired #onthisday 1982. A classic episode with a great cast including Harry Fowler, Derek Fowlds and the then Mrs Waterman, Patricia Maynard. Oh and how amazing did Suzi Quatro look in this? I think a lot of boys became men that day..

Remembering Richard Briers #BOTD 1934. Richard appeared in the #Minder 1988 Christmas special An Officer and a Car Salesman as Colonel Caplan. This extended episode the first after a three year hiatus. It was also the last episode to feature Patrick Malahide as Chilsholm.

Happy Birthday Sharon Duce 💙 Sharon appeared in series two episode 6 of #Minder Not a Bad Lad Dad. A Wonderful and moving,if slightly different episode to normal. Brilliantly written by Tony Hoare and the acting in this, especially by Sharon and Dennis is top notch.
