Just one little battery in the wrong place can lead to the loss of a collection vehicle, or even start a fire in a waste transfer station. Worse - such fires risk lives and the environment. Think before you chuck a battery in the bin or the recycling!!

The Queens funeral procession means A4Gt West Rd closed all day Monday+all roads leading to/crossing it. Also no vehicle & bus link between Chiswick & Brentford. Pedestrian crossings including underpasses will be closed for a short while & no cycles on A4 hounslow.gov.uk/news/article/2…

Road closures will remain in place for much of the day on 19 Sept for the Royal funeral procession & may not be lifted until early evening. Police will not reopen roads until crowds have dispersed, floral tributes have been removed & it is safe to reopen. hounslow.gov.uk/news/article/2…

If you have a vehicle parked on the A4 or A30, which will be directly on the procession route, we advise moving it well before 10am on Monday, 19th September. Any vehicles parked directly on the route may otherwise be moved for operational policing reasons or crowd safety.
