#OODI celebrates Arab American Heritage History Month! We will share resources, student statements, and events to center, uplift, and recognize those celebrating!

Governor Holcomb declared April 3-8 to be Arab American Heritage Week. He noted, "history of Arab Americans in the US remains neglected or defaced by misconceptions, bigotry, and anti-Arab hate in the forms of crimes and speech." #ArabAmericanHeritageMonth

#OODEI celebrates Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month!

Congrats to two members of our O'Neill faculty, @marlene_walk and Jeremy Carter! On July 1, Dr. Walk will be promoted to associate professor and Dr. Carter will become be promoted to professor. Dr. Carter also serves as O'Neill IUPUI's interim executive associate dean.

For Pride 2022, per the official Pride theme of Art & Politics, we’ll be celebrating craftivism, a form of activism/protest centered around the making of handmade crafts. Throughout the month we’ll be showcasing LGBTQ+ groups and individuals who engage in craftivism. Stay tuned!
