BBC news with the great news LTNs will be removed from Tower Hamlets… justice for all children and residents who were impacted with increased harm and danger for the comfort and pleasure of LTN advocates. Now justice for all LTN victims ✊🏼

The Chron / Journal editorial is fair, I think. I agree that the priority needs to be on urgent action but accountability must follow and I hope the regional media doesn't shy away from that. They must speak for the people of Tyneside, not its leadership. chroniclelive.co.uk/news/news-opin…

Major new piece from the Times. A review of 90 low-traffic neighbourhoods found locals opposed the scheme in 87 per cent of cases where polling was conducted. The majority went ahead anyway. Behind the paywall but read it here. johnstewartliveblog.wordpress.com/2025/02/21/res… thetimes.com/uk/transport/a…

The city is set to be extremely busy on Saturday as people gather for Newcastle United's Carabao Cup celebrations. Routes in and out of the city are expected to be very busy. If you are coming into our hospitals, please plan ahead and allow more time for your journey.
