When people hire a social media manager do they tell their audience? 🤔 Just ran into someone who thanked me for the advice I gave her on the Blk Pod Collective IG. BUT it wasn’t me 👀 After 4 years & EXTREME burnout I finally hired a social media manager! What’s the protocol?

So many creatives are scared to take a break for fear of what others are doing or losing their audience Here’s my mindset “The only way you can outshine me, steal my audience, or outwork me is if I CHOOSE to step aside”! Call it cocky but you have to know the value YOU bring 🤷🏾‍♀️

My mom has come to Blk Pod Festival and spent 12 hours in the studio with me BUT still doesn’t know what I do for a living 🤦🏾‍♀️

Studio is closed Thursday- Monday for memorial weekend & my birthday (Friday 🥳) Stranger just called CRYING because she has an interview with a big name this weekend & MUST use my studio! On one end I’m flattered on the other it’s 2 early for this & I NEED this vacation 🤦🏾‍♀️

When people share photos of their children I’ve started showing photos of the studio. It’s my baby & I want you to see the new cool lights. It brings me joy, I spend all my money & time on it, & do a lot of research to keep it alive so it’s pretty much the same 😂

Commercial Real Estate is not for the faint of heart 😥 In the process of expanding the studio, from 900 sqft to 2,000 sqft & it has been a roller coaster 🤦🏾‍♀️ It’s definitely preparation for when I buy my own building 😉

Today has todayed like today has never todayed before! 🥴
